Businesses can begin registering for VAT on October 1st, 2017 by logging into the Federal Tax Authority's online VAT registration portal (FTA). There are a few easy steps businesses can take to register for VAT in the UAE:

 

1. Log into the VAT registration portal by visiting the Federal Tax Authority website.

●    Turnover figures for the previous 12 months.

●    Projected turnover figures for the future.

●    Expected values of imports and exports.

 

5. Click Submit after finishing the application. Your application will be processed by the FTA, and they will reply with an email confirming your Tax Registration Number (TRN).
